EasyVPN Manager ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. By using EasyVPN Manager you agree to the terms below.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account we collect:
- Your name and email address
- A hashed version of your password (we never store plain-text passwords)
- The date and time your account was created
When your VPN tunnel is set up, we assign you a private IP address (within the 10.8.0.0/24 subnet) and generate a unique WireGuard keypair for your device. The private key is delivered to you only — we do not retain it after it is sent.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We operate a strict zero-log policy. We do not collect, store, or share:
- Your browsing history or DNS queries
- Traffic destinations or content
- Connection timestamps or session durations
- Your originating IP address while connected to the VPN
- Any form of usage metadata that could identify your online activity
3. How We Use Your Information
The information we hold is used solely to:
- Authenticate you when you log in
- Provision and manage your WireGuard VPN configuration
- Send essential service emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- Manage your subscription and billing
- Respond to support requests
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored in a MySQL database on a secured server. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage. Communication between your device and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). All VPN traffic is encrypted end-to-end using WireGuard's ChaCha20-Poly1305 cipher suite.
While we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, no system is completely infallible. We will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach.
5. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in to the web dashboard. No third-party tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising pixels are used on this website.
6. Third-Party Services
Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). In that case, your payment details are entered directly on the provider's secure page and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. Please review the payment provider's own privacy policy for details.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. VPN configuration data (public keys, assigned IP) is removed from the VPN server at the same time.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@easyvpnmanager.com.
9. Children's Privacy
EasyVPN Manager is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16 years of age.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
